Traditional Strandja house
The traditional houses in Strandja nature park are built from wood with a stone base. Animals were kept on the ground floor. And people lived on the first floor. Not only do these Bulgarian houses look very nice, they are also extremely practical to live in. In summer they are relatively cool, while in Winter they are relatively warm.
